Where can I buy Ripple (XRP)? This crypto is blasting off!

Give us a like!

Let’s talk cryptocoin fans. Ripple (XRP) has and continues to be on a bullish run in the markets, grabbing market share and users left and right. Backed by the powerful RippleNet and major, A-list investors such as Andreessen-Horowitz, Seagate, Google Ventures, and SBI Virtual Currencies, Ripple has built a global network of payment settlement solutions that are entirely blockchain based. What’s so cool about Ripple? It’s geared to further increase the global liquidity of money by allowing transfers around the world to take place at record speeds with very, very small fees.

Learn why you may want to jump in on Ripple.

Why should I buy Ripple?

It really is performant, appears to be a value-based organization and, let’s be real, its gains have been around 4300% over the past year (2017)! If you have some extra money lying around waiting to be invested in cryptocurrencies, Ripple may be a good starting point. Currently, Ripple’s market capitalization is hovering around $112 billion US dollars and now has surpassed Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash in total market cap. Just think, last year XRP was worth less than a penny.

Ideally though, you’ll want to do your due diligence on the XRP team, its investors, roadmap and long-term vision before spending any of your hard-earned dollars. It’s my opinion that the Ripple team is one of the few globally in the cryptocurrency space that could really give Western Union or Visa a run for their money when it comes to payment settlement and transferring.

And really, when your payments are processed in about 4-5 seconds and can process ~1500 transactions/second on the Ripple Network, XRP could really be on the cusp of being the currency of the future. Watch out Bitcoin.

How do I buy Ripple (XRP) cryptocurrency?

If you are a smaller investor or just want to “dabble” in Ripple, the best way to get your hands on this hot cryptocurrency will be to use one of the exchanges below that support the purchase and conversion of Ripple.

Simply register with an exchange of your choice, verify your identity, load some conventional currency (USD, EUR, etc) and purchase your Ripple (XRP) coins.

  • Bitso
  • CoinCheck
  • Korbit
  • Qryptos

If you are a Bank or a large investor, you’ll probably want to contact Ripple directly (probably for a deep discount).

Major Ripple partnerships with existing banking infrastructure.

This deserves its own headline. Ripple partners with many existing banks and financial institutions to help bridge-the-gap of payment settlement across global borders. From the Federal Reserve, to Bank of America, CIBC, NAB, and many more, this really speaks volumes about the legitimacy of Ripple and their long-term roadmap.

Finally…

Ripple may pose a threat to Bitcoin Core as its settlements and fees are faster and cheaper to complete. Maybe its the winner going into 2018 and beyond. Maybe not. But lets not forget that the Ripple team since 2012 has positioned itself as a complete, global payment and settlement platform without most of the drama and infighting we’ve seen from the decentralized cryptocurrencies (glaring at you Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin Cash, and Bitcoin Gold).

I know many people who love crypto currency. It is just not something I have gotten into. Perhaps I will in the future.
